Inboud cals on Localphone
Hi
I haven't been able to get any inbound calls with localphone for around a week now. When I look at voice service provider reg status it says "Auth Sent" but doesn't appear registered. I'm using the us server as my preferred cluster. Never had any issues with localphone before. Can anyone one help please ? BTW I have tried unregistering for several hours then re registering but no luck |

Have you logged in to your LocalPhone acct. in the last 2-3 weeks or so...
If I remember correctly they have done some updates to their system, and I remember having to undergo a Voip Acct. Upgrade...which simply changed some of the details I used to connect to them via SIP... |

Provider Name: Localphone From User: this is my localphone sip id incl. international & geographical code for UK From Domain: localphone.com Username: my localphone sip ID Host: localphone.com Port: 5060 Active:Yes Sip Register: Yes Optimize Audio Path: No I setup x-lite with my settings & was able to make outbound calls but not recieve inbound ones. This is what localphone asked me to do to check for faults. Any further help greatly appreciated. Currently looking for work & my localphone no is the one on my CV so need it working again asap |

I am using this for reference...How to Configure the X-Lite Softphone for Localphone Also under the incoming numbers tab (in LocalPhone website)...make sure the LocalPhone number is forwarded to your Voip acct. (given the downtime and you needing to receive calls this could also be an option to divert calls to somewhere else temporarily until things get settled with the registration...this way you will not miss the calls at least ... ) Last edited by emoci; 10-03-2009 at 10:23 AM. |

thanks for your help. I changed From User to the localphone SIPID I registration failed, so I changed the host to proxy.localphone.com & it registers
However, when i try & call in to the localphone no. using my mobile phone, its doesn't ring I just get a network busy message on the mobile. When i check my localphone account settings. I am registered through Voxalot now, but can't make up my mind where the fault is - voxalot or localphone |
