Default Cannot receive calls through registered providers

Hello Voxalot Support.
I have two registered providers and both cannot deliver incoming calls to my ATA via voxalot.

Setup is standard: ATA registered to my xxxxxx@us.voxalot.com
Something that should help to fix the issue:
1. Having my providers to forward incoming calls to URI: xxxxxx@voxalot.com versus have the provider registered on voxalot – OK
2. Originate calls from ATA via the provider – not much related but OK
3. Receive incoming calls from IP phone calling xxxxx@voxalot.com – OK
4. Receive incoming calls calling PSTN sipbroker number and dialing *010xxxxxx – OK

I have a subscription allowing 5 registered providers.
Send me a private msg if my voxalot account number/providers needed.

Thank you in advance.

If forwarding the incoming calls from your providers to xxxxxx@voxalot.com works OK, what is the need to having those providers registered in Voxalot ?

Is there any charges for forwarding that you would like to avoid ?

Forwarding incoming calls removes the network traffic burden to maintain an active registration and should be more reliable.

Hi Kurun,
This is true, but the problem is that only one of my two important providers supports URI forwarding.
Besides, I would not pay for the premium service after all. ; -)

Anyway, looking at your posts I see that you are familiar with les.net. This is the one I have trouble with on Voxalot. Can you receive calls if you have les.net _registered_ on Voxalot?

Maybe a possible solution will be similar for my second provider...

Les.net DOES support forwarding of their DID number to xxxxxx@voxalot.com.
They can also be used for outgoing PSTN calls without registration.

I have never tested les.net with registration. I no longer have a DID with them, so I cannot test that feature at this time.

I suppose you would still be able to receive calls if you register that VoIP account in Voxalot, but every time the registration times out or does not re-register for any reason, you lose incoming calls.

Have you tried using PBXes.com as an intermediate step?

If you register the DID with them you can set up a rule to forward its incoming calls to an extension that you have created. If that extension is mapped to SIP/xxxxxx@us.voxalot.com, incoming calls will be delivered to your ATA.

I use this method for suppliers who cannot (or will not) forward to Voxalot.
