Default Adding port to URI

Hi,

I have two SIP Broker accounts set up - one works and the other doesn't. The one that works is on line 1 of my ATA (which uses port 5060). The second one is on line two of the ATA which uses port 5061.

The question is: how do I configure SIP broker so that it knows the second URI is on port 5061?

I tried adding :5061 to the end of the SIP URI but SIP broker won't accept it.

Cheers ,
dafi

Are these both with the same provider?

Check the provider that doesn't work and make sure it doesn't have a red sign next to it in the SipBroker provider list SIPBroker - Provider White Pages

No - nothing to do with SIP providers.

I am just trying to get two aliases to work to the two lines on my SPA2100 ATA. One alias works (to line one of the ATA which is using port 5060) but I cannot get the alias to line two to work. Line 2 is using port 5061.

eg
*011xxxx@sipbroker.com

Ok,

But what is *011xxxx@sipbroker.com and ALIAS for?

I mean *011xxxx@sipbroker.com must be an alias for anything@provider.com, user@myIP or something along these lines

What we want to make sure is that calls to the SIP adresses underlying the aliases are working fine

I hope what I am asking makes sense....

Yes, direct IP dialled calls to both ATA lines work fine. It is just calls using SIP Broker that I can't get to work on the second ATA line - and this I'm sure is because I can't tell SIP Broker to direct the call to port 5061.

eg userid1@111.222.111.222:5060 for line 1 works as does userid2@111.222.111.222:5061 for line 2.

The alias does not refer to a provider - there are NO providers involved here at all. The alias is to my own IP address (direct or via DYNDNS.ORG). But it only works for port 5060 which I presume SIP Broker uses as a default.

How can I tell SIP Broker to use another port?
