Default Call Forwarding from one Voxalot account to another

It seems that the current Voxalot web interface does not allow a direct forward to another Voxalot accout in the SIP URI mode.

When I try to create a forward to SIP URI as "sip:xxxxxx@voxalot.com", it returns a message "SIP URI is invalid".

If I create a forward to "sip:*010xxxxxx@sipbroker.com" or "sip:xx....xx@anyotherprovider.com", then the forwarding works.

A forwarding to a number "*010xxxxxx" via provider "Sipbroker" also works.

This is not mentioned in the tutorial I believe, and I had concluded at one time that forwarding was basically a "work in progress" and not yet functional.

In actual fact, it works quite well, after I realised what the accepted format is.

I am somewhat puzzled as to why forwarding to a direct Voxalot SIP URI [sip:xxxxxx@voxalot.com] is not allowed.

Thanks

It was omitted intentionally by design. The reason was that we did not want members forwarding from one Voxalot account to another through a lack of understanding of this feature.

If members really want this functionality, they could use SIP Broker (as you have noted above).

I believe this is possible using the following:
1. Create a dial plan for to match the voxalot extension using Voxalot as the provider.
2. Forward the call using "Forward inbound call to: Phone Number" to the voxalot extension and the "Provider: [Dial Plan]"
