*** VoXaLot Upgrade ***
Hi,
At approx 8:00pm AEST (+10 GMT) VoXaLot will undergo a major upgrade of its systems. The sequence of events will be as follows: 1. Both the web site and forum will be taken offline. 2. Inbound calling (via registered providers) will be taken offline for both voxalot.com and voxalot.com.au as we are deploying a new provider SIP registration framework. Outbound calling will still continue to work. 3. For approx 5 mins voxalot.com.au will be totally offline. This step is necessary as we perform an OpenSER deployment to this server. Outbound calling on voxalot.com will continue to work. 4. New SIP registration functionality will be activated restoring inbound calling capabilities. 5. DNS entry for voxalot.com will be updated completing the process. The whole process should have very little or no impact to your outbound calling, however inbound calls (via provider registrations) will be disrupted. While the forum is offline, please feel free to use this thread on our SIP Broker forum http://forum.sipbroker.com/showthrea...=2439#post2439 for VoXaLot support. Thanks.

Hi,
I'm on the other side of the world, so I'm not clear which day this applies to. Also, can you tell me how long the service will be down for please? Thanks Joe |

Approx 1-2 hours from now. Downtime should only be limited to the web server, forum and your provider registrations.
The websites will be available once the DNS updates propagate. Outbound calling should continue to function normally.

As part of our pre-cutover verification checks we have uncovered a potential NAT issue around the new provider registration logic.
We have spent the last few hours investigating and decided that it would be prudent to delay the cut-over until we have thoroughly tested all permutations. We will advise on new cut-over dates ASAP. Apologies for any inconveniences.

We have decided to cut over to the new data centre at 8:00pm (+10GMT) tonight (6 hours from now).
We plan to hold of activating the new registration framework until the migration has been bedded down.

The migration is now complete. Provider registrations will still require 24 hours to filter through.
We want to bed down this new server first. Thanks
