Default in-dial issues (oztell)

Anyone else noticed a problem between oztell and voxalot? Starting a day or so ago, all calls comming from oztell through voxalot have been terrible (this is with voxalot registering to my oztell account and someone calling my oztell number). If instead I register my ATA directly with oztell it is all fine, and if someone calls a number from another provider registered in my voxalot account (e.g. koala) the call is fine so it seems like the connection oztell->voxalot is the bad link.

The precise symptoms are when the call is placed, my phone rings but the caller is directly connected to the voxalot voicemail and it is very choppy and disjointed so a meaningful message cannot be left.

Outgoing calls voxalot-> oztell are fine

pls help, I had a system that was working well for me using voxalot so don't want to have to side step them.

Your not alone. We have an OZtell DID that is not working properly with VoXaLot (really choppy voice). We are currentl looking at the network connection between OZtell and VoXaLot.

We are getting 3 inbound calls whenever we dial our oztell DID. It's quite bizzare actually.

We are wondering also if any other members with oztell DIDs are having problems?

Dialling my OzTell DID results in my ATA ringing while the caller hears my voxalot voicemail very choppily and unable to be deciphered, but they also hear the ring tone over the top as well.

If I answer the ATA, nothing but silence, and the ring tone for the caller does not cease.

Cheers

Yes exactly the same problem. It started doing this on our OZtell DID a few days ago. Unfortunately we have no control over the triple inbound problem described above.

So is this to say that you are unable to rectify the issue?

I just tried my OzTell from PSTN as well as from PT. Call quality was fine on both occasions.

I do not have VoXaLot registered against my Oztell account I simply forward my OZ DID to my VoXaLot account.

I guess this means that you have the WEBPABX to be able to forward incomming calls? I have the bare bones package so don't have this option...
