Default Freshtel Registration

Hi,

I've configured Freshtel in the Providers list. It says Registerd in there. However when I call my Firefly extention I immediately get Firefly voicemail as if it's unregistered. My ATA is registered to Voxalot. Please help!

If you are getting Freshtel voicemail then the call is not getting to VoXaLot.

Are you sure it is not VoXaLot voicemail?

Ok then the question is why Freshtel are not recognising the registration?

Are they like exetel that don't support VoXaLot type setups?

I was about to say the same Martin, beat me to it.

Earlier I tried Exetel again... no good. I can make calls okay, but the numer presents to the called party. They cannot call back, it goes straight to Exetel's voicemail.

Default Freshtel issues with acknowledging ATA's

From what I understand of my problems with frshtel is that they have a custom technique used to identify that your phone is available. Hence, when using ATA's you can make calls but not receive them as freshtel does not recognise that your phone is available. This is why it goes straight to voicemail when you try to ring it. If you used the softphone from freshtel you will probably see it work. Also, other people will not see your phone show up on the softphone as being available when simply using your ATA because of the problems mentioned above. Cheers
