Yeah you're right, I'm still going straight through engin.
I am not using the Engin SPA3102 voicebox as a router. I am using a wireless router (connected to the modem) that the engin box connects to. I cannot connect to the Engin voicebox, because when my computer is plugged directly into the ethernet port on the engin box, it will not go to 192.168.0.1, and will not connect to the internet at all. Via my wireless connection, connected to the wireless router, I can go to 192.168.1.1 and connect to the NETGEAR router. But that is just the netgear settings. So not really sure how to access the engin box settings. Last edited by cncnsw; 08-09-2008 at 09:52 AM. |

Ok, try this:
Assuming the SPA is connected to the Router. 1. Make sure the Landline (the Line jack) is not connected 2. Pick up the phone hooked up to Line 1 of the SPA 3. Grab pencil/paper 4. Dial **** 5. You should be greeted by the 'Linksys Configuration Menu' 6.Dial 7932# 7. Then dial 1# to enable the web server 8.Then press 1 to save Hang Up 1. Pick up the phone once more 2. Dial **** 3. You should be greeted by the 'Linksys Configuration Menu' 4. Then dial 110# 5. The device will read you its IP adress (write it down) 6. Now simply point your browser to this address |

Right, I got the Ip address and got into the Linskys SPA config menu, and went through all the menus, but couldn't find anywhere to change where it routes through. I can go in as admin, and go under advanced.
Thanks! |

For starters, under the Voice Tab, Line 1 grab a screenshot of your current settings (this helps give you an idea what Engin should be setup as in VoXalot..and should you want to revert back in the future this'll be a backup)
Other than that, let me get some screenshots up... |

Should there be an outbound proxy? And does anything need to be changed under PSTN Line? Last edited by cncnsw; 08-10-2008 at 04:17 AM. |

Username: user Password: whatever it was before When logging in as Admin afterwards: Username: admin Password: whatever it was before Let's first make sure you can get back into the device.... If you are still having trouble: 1. Pick up the phone and dial **** 2. Dial 877778# to reset 3. Dial 1 to confirm Once you're in: To eliminate the fact that you may have to jump through hoops to receive calls, set everything back to your Engin settings (if you did the reset above, it should be set back on its own) (make sure incoming and outgoing calls are ok) Then simply make these adjustments under Line 1(this will force all outgoing calls over VoXalot, but incoming calls will still be directly from Engin): This should not affect the PSTN line for the time being... BTW, on the screenshot you saved for Engin, what was the dialplan line set in Line 1 (it's possible there were adjustments there that we need to copy over in VoXalot dialplans) Last edited by emoci; 08-10-2008 at 04:23 AM. |

Right, changed it all back to normal, now just a busy signal. I put the original engin dial plan back in, and nothing. that dial plan was (*xx | <:TOSP>000 | <:OTSP>13xxxx | <:02>xxxxxxxx | xxxxxxxxxx | xxxxxx | xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | <#,:>xx.<:@gw0> | 190*.!)
Do you want to just do remote access and see what's going on? Might be easier. |
