VoXaLot and Finarea/Betamax providers
I have read some past messages about the problems when using Finarea/Betamax account.
Since some months are spent, I wish to know if a solution has been found. I am interested mainly in receive calls from other Finarea/Betamax users and in make calls to other Finarea/Betamax users, that work only with Finarea/Betamax client. Thanks. |

For quite some time , there has been no problem (for me) with making two-way calls with Voxalot callback, eg using say Voipcheap for both call legs
The accounts do not accept many peering calls, for reasons I don't know about. Maybe it's firewall or port number issues, or just their policy, but I'm not techie enough yet to know. If you have a DID pointed at an account, then there is some variation of behaviour. Pstn-sourced calls always get through via a free DID from 3 providers I've tried. SIP calls to these numbers can be blocked, even if called from another Betamax account, though an IPKall DID seems to be ok any time so far. I haven't managed to forward a Sipbroker account to Betamax, but that could be my incompetence, or it doesn't work; let's hope for other comments. Last edited by andy; 02-17-2007 at 12:56 AM. |
