Default Simultaneous calls on the same number

Hi,

I was just wondering how simultaneous calls on the same number are handled by Voxalot.

With my incoming number bought at didww.com I have 2 channels, meaning I can receive 2 simultaneous calls.

Do I have to press a button to have a other call at the same time or is it no currently possible with voxalot ?

Thanks a lot,

Raphael.

I'd guess you'd use two Voxalot accounts.

Unfortunately I can't do that, because my number can be mapped only one time, and I mapped it to voxalot.

If someone calls me at the same time than an other one, I heard a bip-bip-bip meaning I have a other caller trying to reach me.

Or maybe it's not a voxalot issue and pressing one button didww will switch the calls ?

Thanks

Dear (name),

We aren't support the end user's systems, so you need to check it with the vendor of your hardware.
We provide two concurrent calls in each DID by default but how you can switch between the lines it depends on your hardware.
Thank you for choosing DIDWW.

DID World Wide
Any Clue?
Thanks,

EDIT : BTW, how does it work f 2 people call the same voxalot account ? Is there a busy tone or is there a bip-bip-bip saying someone tries to reach you?

Typically all ATA's and IP phones and softphones allow for "call waiting", which allows you to take a second (or more) call while still remaining connected to the first one.

I have a DID with Voxbone that gives two incoming channels as well, that I map to Voxalot. When a second call comes in, on my Sipura I receive a typical call-waiting beep and the second channel can be answered in the same way you would traditionally with call-waiting over the regular phone network.
