Just a quick note to say that I have modified the cron job that refreshes the provider registrations to only do it once a day. Please advise if you continue to have problems with outbound calls.

I agree that having the registrations being refreshed daily is inconvenient (especially when trying out new providers). However, in our opinion, having users experience problems in outbound calling is worse. The daily refreshes are only a stop-gap measure until we have worked out a way to get around Asterisk's limitations.

I have. It's very poor at the moment; almost unusable in fact. I've just had to resort to making a call over the PSTN! Long time since I had to do that. My symptom is that I get no ring signal at all, and it happens time and time again.

Just had a 20 second delay, not fun, especially when the calls are only 1 minute in total. I like it when voxalot only has <5 second delays.

I think that the registration once a day is a very hard limitation in the service, expecially for who (like me) wants to test the service, creating a new account and addng new VSPs.

The ideal (IMHO) should be to have somthing like a button to register/unregister the VSP from the "Add provider" form

Sorry Martin; what I meant by that was for a few days I would dial and get nothing - no ring signal, no busy signal, no NU signal. I would wait for up to 30 seconds to see if it was going to connect. Often it didn't.

Now I get a ring signal (or some other kind of signal to indicate that my dial attempt has been recognised) over 90% of the time. That's what I mean by a "hit rate".

I wonder if it would be possible to detect changes and cause registration based on the changes only -- thus not waiting a day to register, but maybe every 5 minutes just for the changed records?
