Default Voxalot - providers loose registration

Hi all!

It's happening with various providers: ClaroLite, Tpad, eVoice.gr
When I just register, or reboot the ATA where voxalot is configured, all services work perfect and I can receive calls without problem.

But, after a while (5-10 minutes) of this, then no more calls come through. It's as if the registration was lost.
I can continue to MAKE calls from the providers configured in Voxalot but do not receive anymore.

If anyone has any thoughts on this, please let me know.

I am using a Sipura SPA-1001
on a 1024/256 ADSL, which works perfect on line 2 with FWD
Voxalot is on Line 1.

Regards,
Santiago

Voxalot does not lose registrations more likely what is happening is the details (IP address / port) that your ATA used to register with Voxalot have gone stale.

This is a common NAT problem.

Rebooting you ATA forces the ATA to send fresh details to Voxalot which explains why it then works.

The real answer is to look at NAT keep alive settings on your device. Have a search of the forum as this issue has been addressed before.

Dear Martin,

Looks like I've solved the problem. Just ticked NAT Keep Alive and everything's been working perfectly well for almost two hours now.

Thanks!

Regards,
Santiago
