Default How to choose an operator manually

Do you have any idea how to construct the dial plan to decide at the time of dialing by which provider the call will be made? If I write for example:
_44444. $(EXTEN:5) PROVIDER - it doesn't work (4444 was supposed to be added additionaly before my actual number to direct the call to PROVIDER 1 and then skipped). Can it be achieved in any other way?
Thanks for any help. Tomek

The way you describe should work ok. Best advice is to put the number you are dialling in the test field and check where it is routing.

The are many posts in the forum where members have done a similar thing. A quick search should help you find them.

Hi tomek,

It might be just a typo but you have five 4s in your plan but your description of the problem "(4444 was supposed to..." only contains four 4s.

I found the reason of my problems - it was a dialplan in my ATA. I changed it and now it works great! Thank you for your help!
