Cannot log into voicemail
Hello All,
This evening I am having problems getting my voice mail. I was able to get to it yesterday. I keep getting "password incorrect". I haven't made any changes on my end? Anyone having VM problems tonight. thanks |

Is it possible to reset VM password?
Is it possible to reset your VM password or will it have to be done by someone at voxalot?

Could you try adjusting the method you use to send DTMF tones?

Using G.711 works best.... I had the same trouble with G.729, go figure.

Voxalot voice mail is fussy when it comes to DTMF tones. 'Inband' on G711 works by far the most reliably when it comes to calling out to the PSTN with a call-out provider, but it does not work consistently with Voxalot. I think it has to do with Asterisk and its own preferred modes.
In a Sipura adapter, you have the choice of inband (which only works consistently with the u-law/a-law codec), AVT, and Info. Apparently these are three different procedures for conveying touch tones across a VOIP phone. 'Auto' tries to automatically determine what one is best given the caller and callee but often fails. And then there is some combination of two of these at once. Play around with this sort of thing, it is definitely the source of your finding it hard to get your password accepted by the voice mail server. |

I've successfully used 'in-band' and 'RTP' in the past, with my HT-488 ATA. 'SIP info' has been more troublesome.

I have a Sipura / Linksys SPA942 and did try adjusting as per the faq adn tutorial and still no luck. I also tried calling from other service providers and either got a fast busy or the same error.
So I am not sure if my account is messed up or what the problem is. As I said before it was working fine the day before last. Thanks for your suggesstions. |

Contacting a Sys Admin at Voxalot
Hi,
I posted yesterday about not being able to log into Voicemail and still cannot get in. I tried all of the suggestions but to no avail. Is there are contact email address for someone at Voxalot that can reset my voicemail password. Like I said, I have been using VM for a while and have not made any changes on my end so I am wondering if something got hosed up? thanks, |
