Question Voicemail via email

Does VoXaLot do this? What I mean is having voicemail messages sent to your email address as an attachment. Most VSPs I use have this feature for their voicemail, but I'm not aware of it being available with VoXaLot. This is the only way I like receiving voicemail as it is the most convenient when away from home.

That feature has been here since the beginning. You should already be receiving voicemail alerts with attachments at the email address you signed up with.

Thanks for that.

I was just wondering because I could not find any mention of it on the VoXaLot site, either in the FAQ or Tutorials. I have not had anyone call my VoXaLot number as yet (this will change soon), so I was not aware it existed. What format is the audio attachment in? (i.e. is it a .wav file or .mp3 or something else?)

True they are in WAV format, but they are not uncompressed PCM audio but the codec used is GSM. It saves a lot of space but it does make the playback somewhat more muffled and indistinct.
