Problem with on reconnection

This is a little complicated. I have dsl and get disconnected when a incoming call comes in. my router which is a wrt54gs reconnects no problem but my pap2 won't reconnect.

Is this a problem with voxalot or the pap2? Reason I'm asking is that when I had fwd connected it would be able to reconnect on such a line disconnection but voxalot line pretty much never reconnects when my line gets disconnected.

Thanks for any info. Tried searching for a solution to this problem but can't seem to find a permanent fix other than a complete poweroff/on of my router/modem/pap2.

When you say th PAP2 won't reconnect, do you mean REGISTER?

If so, what is your registration expiry setting on the PAP2?

I do mean register. it's been set at 300 and 60 and the problem exists for both settings. my fwd doesn't have problems reregistering.

For network performance reasons, Voxalot has a min expires setting of 600secs.

I'm not sure how the PAP2 handles a situation when the setting is less than this value i.e. 300 and 60.

As a test change the PAP2 to re-register every 600secs.
