Default Is the Dial Plan Test Tool working or have I something wrong

I have MNF and PT as options. Mostly everything goes to MNF and Mobile calls to PT.

I have:
Pattern: _04XXXXXXXX
Replacement: ${EXTEN}
Provider: PT
Active: Yes
ENUM Lookup: 614${EXTEN:1}

When I do the Test for say: 0408123456
I get it will go via MNF. It should be PT

Hi,

The underlying logic for the test option has not changed. Best bet is to PM me your Voxalot account number.

Also if you have an MNF dial plan, with a blank String, with higher priority that this that could be the issue.

Set this at priority 1, and lower everything by 1, it should do the trick.

As it turns out there was another rule kicking in. There was no issue with Voxalot.

Yes my plan below was incorrect (From Matt's - voipstuff.net.au >> Home, I have now swapped 40 as 20, and 20 as 40

Old Plan:
Priority Pattern Replacement Provider Active
10 _NXXXXXXX 08${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
20 _0NXXXXXXXX ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
30 _1[38]00XXXXXX ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
31 _1NXXXX ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
40 _04XXXXXXXX ${EXTEN} PennyTel Yes
50 _0011. ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
60 _121 ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
61 _151 ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
62 _181 ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
63 _777 ${EXTEN} PennyTel Yes
65 _XXX. ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
70 _20z. ${EXTEN:1} PennyTel Yes
71 _2[69]XXXXXXX 08${EXTEN:1} PennyTel Yes
80 _20011x. ${EXTEN:5} PennyTel Yes
999 _xxxx. ${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes

I have also change line 10 to
10 _[69]XXXXXXX 08${EXTEN} MyNetFone Yes
as having the N in your dial plan, would catch the 2 when you try dialling a number beginning with 2 when trying to use Priority 70-80

Hmm, however I still can't get it to use PT when I add a 2 at the start in the "Dial Plan Test' Tool

I also have issues with some 13 numbers were I just get an engaged signal

You wanna change your priority as follows (using current priority numbers to show order)

40
50
60
61
62
63
80
70
71
31
20
30
10
65
999

I may have messed up too, but pretty much anything that can fit into another string has to take priority. Eg. _20z. can fit into _xxx., so _20z. must come before _xxx. Or _04x. can fit into _0nx. so _04x. must come first.

That may just do it.

However, once you change them and test, write down the number you are using to test for each rule.

Then you gotta look at each rule that seems to be broken, and which rule is taking over instead. Then go in and make changes as needed. Then test again. It is one of those trial/error things until you get it all right....

Thanks emoci

I will play with this over the next few days

Martin: I wonder in the 'Dial Plan Test' Tool you could add what Priority number was used. This would save a lot of trial/error, as emoci stated above.
