Not all all. Just saying our voipbuster account is working fine with the EU server.

We don't have any other Betamax flavors other than voipbuster to test with.

Edit: Just tried the voipbuster account and worked again. Maybe it is one of the other Betamax varieties.

Also seems to be working from my side. Using VoipBuster too.
I don't think there are any differences between the Betamax services. They're all on the same server, except that your account has other per minute rates.

Well, I'll just stick to the US server. I don't like having to switch a few times per week. In all cases the US server never fails but the EU server does. No more EU server for me.

(Voipbuster user).

What I get is "503 Unauthorised" if either:
1) was making a call just before my ADSL line drops and I try to make another as soon as the link is re-established
2) My wife makes a call from home just before I make a call from the office (2 different ADSL links & IP Addresses)
In both cases it seems to take a few minutes before another outgoing call can be made from the alternate IP Address.
Unfortunately even having a second voipcheap account will not completely solve this issue because one of my ADSL lines is at it's limits and does drop off fairly often.
If this is the the cause then I must admit it has already been rather annoying.
A lot going on in this thread! But I think this post is the key to the problem? Maybe they have a system for blocking people who use their account from two IPs? Martin, is it possible to test this idea?

Where does this 300 minutes condition come from?

You're not mistaking this for the 300 minutes a week of free calls to the cheapest destinations, after which they charge 1c/min?

@andy thats true, my mistake. i had the impression the restriction could possibly have to something with the often blocked outgoing calls with the eu server. sorry

After a few test calls (using 2 extensions) I received the "503 Unauthorised" again - this cleared after a few minutes.
It seems that it is not simply "per IP address" but per "voxalot extension" but does not always seem to occur - there might be an additional constraint that the call has to be answered.
With 2 extensions registered to Voxalot on the same IP Address and both extensions using the same voipcheap account (Register=NO) an outgoing PSTN call from one ext seems to prevent an outgoing PSTN call from the other ext for a period of what appears to be UP TO 5 mins.
Could it be 'simply' that when a call is made the extension registers with voipcheap and the registration does not clear for a while after the call completion - hence the second ext cannot register to make another call?
This actually sounds feasible - so for a ´perfect´service with multiple extensions you need to have an account per extension - it's not just a revenue maximisation technique specifically being employed by Betamax after all!

i think it is due to Betamaxs rules that free minutes are per IP address so in theory if you call from two different locations or extensions the server may block you for a while? i guess

It is fine as long as one user is blocked and not the whole community

I can confirm that I use the eu server and has been working all day (at least when I have called)
