Temporarily unavailable
I use SPA3102 and I cannot get Voxalot incoming calls to work.
My phone rings, but when I answer it, I get silence and then 'Temporarily Unavailable' message. This happens even when I put the ATA before the router straight on the cable modem. In other configurations, the calling party will receive a busy/congestion signal, while my phone continues to ring until I answer it. This even happens if I dial my Voxalot ID from a softphone (so, it is softphone -> Gizmo -> Voxalot -> ATA). Is there any way for Voxalot team to look at the logs associated with a particular number and see what problem is triggered? |

You need to isolate where the problem lies. Try calling one of the SIP Broker access numbers found here:
SIPBroker - PSTN Numbers At the prompt, dial *010xxxxxx where xxxxxx is your Voxalot number. This will tell you where to start looking.

Ok, I tried that.
I get SIPBroker's IVR prompt. Dial my number and get busy tone. Unfortunately, this tells me nothing new. |

It actually does. It means the problem is on the ATA side. Check your STUN settings on the SPA.

Also if you have not had a chance check out http://forum.voxalot.com/voxalot-gen...lkthrough.html
It definitely looks like a NAT issue so setting up STUN should help |

Works now
Martin and Emoci,
Thank you. I have reset my ATA to factory settings, following the guide for all the settings related to firewall and STUN and it seems to work now. Interestingly, it looks like it took a couple of hours for the settings to settle in and start working, even though I tried power-cycling both router and ATA. Looking back, this specific symptoms may have been enabling 'INVITE Auth' setting, which was done for the other problem. |
