So you made a call through Voxalot in the end. And it was free for more than 1 minute?

Tom, yes after crediting my account with 10 Euro's and getting the account upgraded to vip status, i have managed to make a call via voxalot through startel.
It was 10 mins in length and was free So all along my problem was that they dont allow free calls untill you credit your account anymore. |

I subscribed to StarTel VIP and got the following "surprices" after paying €10 via PayPal:
1) StarTel converted my payment from €10 to $10! 2) StarTel subtracted a "payment fee" of $0.69 3) After making a 5 sec landline call StarTel subtracted $0.278 (mobile rate) 4) StarTel doesn't reply to emails Not that cheap after all /dbb |

i Payed my 10Euros via paypal, mine was converted to $ and i was deducted $0.69 and left with $9.31 as my credit.
The info at the bottom of the account info page says:- Quote:
I have emailed them and asked for clarification on this, and also asked them to credit my account the missing $0.10 I have made a 10 milute call to a UK 01 landline number and it was free. Maybe the destination you are calling is not a free destination. check that out too. Ill let you know what they say. Last edited by Zarkov; 03-28-2007 at 10:44 PM. |

well ive had a reply now.
They say the $ symbol is just that a symbol, the whole site uses Euros, and the 59 cents is paypals fee. Theyt have also agreed to credit me the 10 cents discrepency. Not so bad afterall I would check that the call you made before is indeed ment to be free and them email them if it should have been free. |
