SPA-3102 loses registration.
For a friend, I have set up an SPA-3102 to register with the Voxalot Eu server. The whole system works fine except it keeps losing registration. Currently the IP of the ATA part is variable (DHCP).
A separate problem is that sometimes, when answering a call, the call is dropped and the dial tone is heard. This fault persists until the router and the SPA-3102 are hard reset (power). The router is a Netgear WGR-614 and is the same one I use with an SPA-3000 - I don't get any problems and I get use the same ISP too. Any ideas? |

I have found it best to set the SPA (both 3000 and 3102) to DHCP=no - that way it keeps the same IP address - also useful if you are using the Sipura Monitor which needs this info(IPaddress) to work - Bill

Although I am not using an SPA310x device, in general I have reduced the Register Expiration timout to a lower number than the default of 1 hour to eliminate this problem.
