Voxee and Voxalot? Any one using Voxeee?
Hi all,
Just tried to register Voxeee with Voxalot and it always shows the status as "Request Sent". The status is same for almost 3 to 4 hrs. The following are the information I used for registering Voxee as the provider. User Name : xxxx ( 4 digit user ID provided by Voxee) Password : My password for Voxeee Host : 66.246.246.52 Active = Yes Register = Yes. I would greatly appreciate if some one has experience with Voxee can confirm whether the information I am providing is correct or not. Also, If you are using Voxee, How is their service and support. Just asked because I have opened a ticket with them for almost a day and no one responded till now. Just want to know how reliable voxee is and also how responsive are they for the tickets and issues. Thanks Shibu Raj |

I've had Voxee registered from VoXaLot for a long time and don't experience VoXaLot related problems. Your info appears to be correct.
As far as Voxee as a provider, they do go down occasionally and do not respond to email in a timely fashion. Ron |

I've been using Voxee for quite a long time now. Try using ny-gw1.voxee.com as the host instead of the IP address you provide.
Also, if yo have an ATA device configured to register to Voxee as well, I think Voxee does not like to have multiple registrations for the same user -still not sure. In short, Voxee service has been very useful for me and reliable too. Regarding their tech support is almost non-existent. Ari |

I have Register = No since registration is not required to make outgoing calls. Your other settings look similar to what I have.

I didn't find Voxee (SIP) to be reliable at all. Their IAX is supposed to be a great deal more reliable. But I had many problems with calls not completing when I used Voxee.
When they do complete, the quality was always very good and the price was always among the lowest I've seen. I like how they support outbound caller ID setting from an adapter. Voxee isn't a provider you should register with via Voxalot. If the calls still complete fine via Voxalot, then it works, regardless of what the registration status tells you if you set Voxalot to register to Voxee. |
