I have forwarded a list of accounts that need manual activation to the Admins...
The issue is, that in 95% of cases the activation is automatic...and in the cases where it is not, it has to do with EMail adress typos...
As far as Gmail... a while back (coming up on about a year now), email accounts from the top Free providers (Hotmail, GMail etc.) were blacklisted in favour of ISP specific domains... (main issue was that there were what appeared to be either users or bots, setting up a myriad of accounts in a short amount of time).
