I have been having some issues registering a Snom 320 phone to a Voxalot account. This phone uses DNS SRV records if they exist. Unfortunately, my default DNS server does not have the correct info. A nslookup returns the following:
Quote:
C:\>nslookup -q=SRV _sip._udp.voxalot.com.au
Server: my.router
Address: 192.168.1.254
_sip._udp.voxalot.com.au SRV service location:
priority = 1
weight = 0
port = 5060
svr hostname = voxalot.com.au
voxalot.com.au nameserver = ns1.voxalot.com.au
voxalot.com.au nameserver = ns2.voxalot.com.au
ns1.voxalot.com.au internet address = 202.60.75.47
ns2.voxalot.com.au internet address = 64.34.163.35
|
The line missing is something like:
voxalot.com.au internet address = 202.60.75.46
At present I'm having to use the IP address which kinda defeats the purpose of the SRV record... Anyone else having issues with voxalot.com.au or voxalot.com?
Cheers,
Mark
