Default Support for G722 HD wideband codec

Now that more and more devices, such as AVM's Fritz!Box and the Gigaset IP phones, are coming onto the market that support the G722 codec, does Voxalot have any plans to support this desirable codec in the foreseeable future?

For those who don't know, provided enough bandwidth is available, this high-definition wideband codec provides superior call quality, better than PSTN. It can only be used if you have the right equipment and if your VSP supports it.

Hopefully, as more users realise just how good call quality can get, they will be applying some pressure on manufacturers and VSPs to support this codec. As calls will increasingly be carried over high bandwidth IP connections rather than PSTN, the use of a high definition codec becomes more appealing.
