Suggestion: Echo Test Callback
Most people use the *600 echo test when they first setup a system.
But to test incoming calls you usually need a friend to keep calling you or use one of the PSTN gateways to call your SIP number....

I have not used Fring, but have read in detail...
I have not used Fring, but have read in detail about it as I am also looking for a suitable softphone for a WM device.
You need to give them your phone number which essentially becomes your userID...
