symmetric NAT handling

Forgive my ignorance but I have a question regarding this option.

Background:
I have an SPA3000 which is directly connected i.e no routers, no nat handling issues, own IP address.

Question:
Since I do not have a setup that handles NAT, do I need to set the Enable symmetric NAT handling to YES?

In that case you should be able to set this to "No" and totally bypass the server side NAT handling logic.
