SIP registration not working for one provider
Hi,
Today I decided to switch to Voxalot to manage my SIP providers and dialplans. I've managed to setup a number of voice service providers and create a dialplan. All went great, but I've seemed to hit one snag: The registration of my two separate SIP accounts with XS4ALL failed. All other SIP accounts (budgetphone, 12voip, voipbuster) work correctly. If I program the xs4all accounts in my fritzbox directly, they register immediately. To avoid any typo's I've renewed both XS4ALL accounts in voxalot, but no avail. I'm using the EU server. Any known problems with registering the XS4ALL SIP service from voxalot? TIA! |

The gist seems to be to try and change the server cluster (from eu to us and vice versa). It does however appear that the problem intermittently reappears... |
Thx! I did search the forum before on 'xs4all' and I had read that post and changed the cluster from eu to us, but that didn't work for me. So that's why I posted the question to check if there were any other issues.
I'll post a question in de xs4all.voip newsgroup as well.... |
The newsgroep generated a possible solution. Use the US server and in advanced settings, 'from domain' settings, fill in xs4all.nl instead of sip.xs4all.nl. Tried this on the EU server, awaiting registration now.... I'll keep the forum updated :-)

The trick with the advanced settings on the EU server didn't work. Tried the US server today and registration succeeded within a few minutes.
