issues receiving calls from gtalk to inum getaway
Hi all,
First read: iNum - One number for the world » Blog Archive » iNum adds presence, IM and Google Talk about gtalk getaway with inum I have two issues with my +883510004123456 inum number provides by voxalot.com adding 883510004123456@inum.net as a contact in a gtalk account. I have two gtalk account the first: @gmail.com the other @mydomain.com (Google Apps service) First Issue: I have a Google Apps account when i add 883510004123456@inum.net the inum contact never accept the invitation. Second Issue: In the @gmail.com account the contact 883510004123456@inum.net accept the invitation, i call to the contact and i can hear the normal wait-for-answer-tone (silence beep silence beep) but my phone don’t ring. Configuration of my inum account: I have a voxalot paid account (with a six digits voxalot-id) and i have 883510004xxxxxx inum number. The voxalot account it’s registered in a RTP300NA (PAP2 with router ATA) and i use it normally to make and receive calls. |
Well, for me it is working great. Your procedure is correct and it should work with all Voxalot's iNum numbers as well with any other iNum numbers. I've my self four iNum numbers from different providers and I can call all of them through my GTalk account. Maybe your problem is with GTalk and not with Voxalot. As google uses several servers in data centres across the globe, it may exist some problem with some google servers. But as the service is concern, I can confirm that it is working great accessing the GTalk account either from Portugal or Brazil, adding and/or dialling Voxalot iNum as well as iNum numbers from other providers.

Hi all,
@137383 I have added voxalot 883510004xxxxxx@inum.net to gtalk but it did not work(tried two different numbers) but 883510009xxxxx@inum.net worked perfectly. 883510009xxxxx is voipuser.org may be you try from voipuser.org and it may work for you also. Regards. Majo |
