Problem with *1800?

Did a search but could not find any posting. All of a sudden, I cannot dial toll-free using *1800 anymore. Anyone else having this problem? It works using the old 1800 without * where it goes thru ENUM. Even a SIP call using *1800xxxxxxx@sipbroker.com fails.

It does appear to be failing (fast busy). I'm sure Martin will see this thread and take a look.

For any concerned Voxalot users "missing" their US toll-free numbers:

1) It still appears to work without the asterisk. 18005558355 gets the very wonderful TELL Me service. Testing 18005558355 in the Voxalot Dialplan window reveals that toll-free numbers are directed to a number of public SIP gateways.

2) It is possible to add one of these (Toll Free Gateway) as a provider in Voxalot (use guest as user and as password proxy=sip.tollfreegateway.com)

Tried and tested

Regards to All

Edit Don't forget to edit your dialplan to send all 18 calls to tollfreegateway

Thx for the tip. Do you know if this still goes thru ENUM? Its website dont really provide that much info! Problem with ENUM is that not all toll-free numbers are reachable. And if its ENUM, I dont really need to go thru this gateway as Asterisk handles it.

Martin - any update??

Our up stream provider has fixed the problem. Please check and let us know if there are still issues.

Thanks.
