What happened to the voicemail lady?

Hello,

I always have my voicemail active and normally an English speaking lady is kindly asking to leave a message for me if I'm not available. Now she's gone and if someone calls me he or she gets just a beep. Voicemail can be left but I kind of miss this lady :( Can we ask her to come back?
I recorded my voicemail prompts but the system does not like it either. Still getting a beep.

Sorry if I've missed some announcement about voicemail changes. I was searching our support forum but did not find anything related.

Thanks!

She is still there if you have not recorded your own message. The only difference now is the last piece of instructional audio has been taken out.

Still played:

"The person at extension xxxxxx is unavailable" <beep>

If you are getting nothing other than a <beep> then you need to delete your greeting using the VM IVR.

Thanks for the help. I guess there is no reason to miss that lady anymore : ). It's actually a good change.

The problem I had was because of a temporary greeting the voicemail system allows to record. I just realized that it overrides other greetings (unavailable for sure), if active. Actually because of that lady I recorded just a second of silence as my temporary greeting so, in that case I had just the lady speaking. After she was gone I got only a beep.

So, the lesson learned. Temporary greeting has to be deleted (deactivated) in order to have my own unavailable greeting on the voicemail. All other greetings have to be properly recorded as well.

I miss the lady voice, saying not only that I'm unavailable - but also adding "please leave a msg after the beep!"

I agree that it was weird that she added this as long as you had recorded your own msg - but for all of us that don't have voices made for own recorded messages - it sounds odd not having her around... Somethings missing!

I don't have any recording whatsoever and I still only get the beep, how would I rectify this? (What's the voicemail ivr?)
