Voicemail Access Poll

Hi guys,

Seems a small number of members are having problems accessing their voicemail. We would like to understand if there is a common reason for this.

Please take the time to dial either *500 or 500 (if you device does not allow leading *'s).

Then post:

1. What is the very first voice prompt you hear (comedian mail or password etc)
2. Entering password works ok
3. Device you are using
4. DTMF setting
5. Codec is device

Edit: Added 5th option (Codec). Feel free to edit existing entries.

Thanks alot.

Should I change my DTMF settings? I don't have a clue what to change... Please advice if you need further input. I will also try with hardware ATA as soon as I am home again.
Would the X-Pro diagnostics log be of any help for you?

1. "Password?" - Same response for [500] or [*500]
2. Entering password works ok
3. GS GXP-2000 or HT-496 (Call Features set to [No] in both cases)
4. DTMF setting - RFC2833
5. Codec in device - G711a,u, G729, etc.

Dialling *010*500 or *010500 gives an error message "We are sorry. The number you have called could not be connected. Please try again"

If accessing through a third party VSP in Voxalot via the VSP's Sip-Broker access code, then dialling *010*500 or *010500 both work.
The message I get is "Comedian Mail. Mail Box?"

SJ-Phone - For some reason dialling *500 or 500 both do not work.
Call terminates due to "408 request time-out".
I'm pretty sure it used to work before.
Calls to other extensions do work however.

2. Login Works
3. eyeBeam 1.5
4. Not sure on DMTF code (they seem to be hiding this info in 1.5)
4. G711u
