Order preference
I would like to know how I can ring 2 phones at once in the e164 snum lookup. Originally I had 2 SIP URI's with the same order preferece of 10.
------------ I have enum setup as a trunk before my dialout trunk. I call my enum registered number from one extension 401 and I have my number set to ring to another extension sip uri 201 @ as well as a gizmoproject.com sip uri. Both have a preference of 10. Only the gizmoproject rings. I removed gizmoproject and it rang through to the extension through the server (201) fine. I went back through the logs and information for both numbers were brought back. So why didnt my system make 2 calls? What did I do wrong? Thank you |
Wrong section? Wrong Board?
What does this have to do with e164.org?
Sounds like an Asterisk issue. I do not think the (same) priorities will give you a simultaneous ring. I think it is intended to say which entry has more weight. Mark |
Thank you for bumping up the overlooked topic. It does have to do with e164. I have revised the original post.

I don't think this has to do with e164.org, this is a phone system thing, the phone system has to be programmed in such a way that it will take all results of the same weight and dial them simutaneously, but this wasn't considered part of the e.164 spec at all as far as I'm aware.
