Calling your own number
I had a strange experience today with Voxalot: I called my own number, which usually results in a 403 Forbidden error. Today, I got "Your account has been disabled for: compliance." What in the world is this? Has anyone gotten this before?
(By the way: I still have connectivity. I hope I didn't do anything that broke the rules of Voxalot! ;)) |

Any chance you have a PhoneGnome acct. setup in VoXalot, possibly setup in a forwarding rule? It sounds extremely similar to the message PG would give you, if you haven't logged into your acct. with them for a while |
Ah, that might be it. I don't have a forwarding rule (I don't think I can?), but I did add a PG account to the VSP list. Would that cause it?

-You have VoXalot setup in X-lite -You setup PG in your provider list -Either VoXalot made a default dial plan, or you made a dial plan for PG -Now when you call your own VoXalot acct., 6 digit calls are for some reason being sent over PG, which in turn comes back to you with that message Check under Smart Call/Dial Plans, at the bottom of the page there is test line where you can enter a number and see how it'll be routed (it's a simulation of dialing a number and seeing what rules apply)... Try your 6 digit VoXalot number and see what the result says... |
