callto: links to Voxalot - a suggestion

With the slow rise in the number of callto links out there on the net, it would be great if we had a facility where you click the link and some software initiates a call to your voxalot account and then connects to the number. I got this idea from a Vonage service provided by Raizlabs:

Would this kind of thing be possible with Voxalot?

Internally our plate is a little full at the moment, however we do have an API available that software developers can use to do what you are suggesting.

We are more than happy to make this API available to such worthy causes.

I don't know for sure, but it seems like Raizlabs might be interested in doing it (for free?)

An Ignorant Question ....But...

If someone calls with the click and call does he have to have a voip account or can the call go to a POTS ?

Well with Voxalot the call can go anywhere you like - you just have to set up call forwarding. So it can go to a mobile number, pots number, SIP URI or even voice mail.

Tony.

Yes but....

Ok, If I understand this correctly, Anyone can put a phone number in, I just forward my number to a provider and the number in the "call to" will be redirected to the proper phone? Sorry I am so dense! Thank you

Another example to add to the list. Shame Voxalot aren't offering this. Maybe when you are less busy!
