voipalot.com not working via us.voxalot.com
 

I have posted to the previous thread about this issue but I thought this might warrant a separate thread.

I just registered for voipalot (voipalot.com) and when I try to call I get busy tone. Originally I thought the issue was with premium account (user "majo" posted similar issue in Jan/2011).

After some additional testing - when I use eu.voxalot.com it works fine but with us.voxalot.com it does not work (busy tone).

Voxalot - could you look into it? I am wondering if this is a voipalot issue or voxalot issue. Thanks.

I am normally using PAP2 but just for test I tried with zoiper - eu works fine but when using us I get this in zoiper log:
12:28:42 Line 1 : failed (bearercapability notauth)

Voxalot support - any update?

I have not been able to get voxalot or ideasip to work today. Since I installed a new router this week, I thought that was the problem, but there is no firewall, and the proper ports are forwarded. The symptom is that the call (600*) is established, but nothing happens. After reading your post, I changed from us.voxalot.com to eu.voxalot.com, and everything works. There are some interruptions in the audio. Don't know.

patlaw - my voxalot works fine, at least all the other providers. It is just voipalot I am having issues with.

I just tried again and now it does not work via eu.voxalot.com either, I am wondering if this is voipalot blocking the calls or a voxalot issue.

it is voipalot.com sip that has problem. I am connected directly with voipalot.com but sometime it does not work and one get busy tone. One can register without problem but calls does not goes through. Mostly ping to sip.voipalot.com is not reachable, but other sip e.g sip.easyvoip.com are reachable.


In my view voipalot sip is not stable and will not top up when my current credit is finished.

majo - when I was testing "us" never worked by "eu" worked fine very consistently. My feeling was that voipalot could be blocking voxalot. When I tried last time us & eu did not work ... I almost thought that voipalot found this forum and blocked "eu" too.

In any case it should be relatively easy for Voxalot to confirm. Since this is an official support forum I would really like voxalot to comment.

us server seems a long time issue. For somehow, is not fixed, or it's not fixed well for a while (posts of recent years mainly on this discussion).
but eu or au either is ok.

Is this voxalot support forum? Or is there any other way to contact support? I am still waiting for some response on this.
