anyone else with outbound problems?

Has Voxalot been experiencing problems over the last 24 hours? I have multiple VSPs set up and they all seem to be expierincing calls not connected , time out etc.

VOxalot seems to have issues with reliability that if reamin unresolved, make it nothing more than a test bed

I have same problems :-( Only Voxalot itself seems to be fine.

Confirmed

I have confirmed this issue. Voxalot.com.au is fine. It is only voxalot.com!

I made a few calls in the US and one to Germany today using voxalot.com without any problems.

It will not even register my trunks at present

Using voxalot.com, calls to other VoXaLot numbers and calls via Sip Broker work fine. Calls to 500, 600, and calls via providers get nothing but dead air. Incoming calls from providers also get dead air. This has been happening with increasing frequency in recent weeks.

Our analysis has concluded that voxalot.com has hit a limit within asterisk that is caused by the many thousands of provider registrations.

We will probably have to readjust the provider register refresh interval to once or twice a day (instead of every 5 mins) until we can develop a viable alternative.

We will keep you posted.

Perhaps it is time for a second North American Voxalot server?

It might be nice to have a north and south , or east and west servers!

I am certain that you would find cooperation with commercialising the service, and could even offer redundancy for paid accounts (failover from one server to another).

What if you got $5.00 US monthly from 20% of the users on voxalot, would that suffice to take on more servers?

Perhaps the following model may help:

Basic Account
No call back function
two VSP registrations
one user agent registration

Premium account (PAID)
Web CallBack
Up to 5 VSPs
Up to 5 UA registrations
more advanced LCR functionality
failover support

Since voxalot has fixed IP addressing, is there really a need to register every 5 minutes?. It would seem more reasonable to me if that were every 1 hour as I believe to be required by most VSPs. I think more than an hour leaves voxalot users in a bad way

I am getting 408 request timeout to all providers on voxalot.com.au
