Call forwarding broken
I have had on going problems getting call forwarding to work on my voxalot account (member id 723272). At the moment I have disabled every rule and added just 1 at the top with redirect all calls at any time to this phone number. And yet it keeps calling the voxalot number (registered ATA)!
Please help, my business partner keeps telling me to get rid of voxalot. edit: in case Martin investigates I have reversed my two phones and I will make my ATA directly register with voxalot, at least that way I will get calls even though the call forwarding rules don't work. |

Please check now and let me know if the problem is resolved.

I am having the same problem with my account, the forwarding rules just aren't kicking in.

Appears I'm having similar problems... Got a nice call at 2AM this morning instead of going directly to voicemail :(

Call forwarding broken to Gizmo
I have not changed anything it had been working for a year.
Now it does not forward to Gizmo using SIP URL as a Call Forwarding rule. It just rings for the caller, not at Gizmo (call receiver). Please help! |
From other posts, it appears Gizmo5 is blocking Voxalot's IP address as well as calls through Sipbroker.

I am not using Gizmo but my call forwarding rules doesn't work also! Very annoying because I need my number forwarded now! Just don't believe it that this problem is half a year old and not being solved (as more problems never has been resolved). Shame on you Voxalot!

Voxalot support helped me out a while ago. The problem lies with the matching. EndsWith/BeginsWith/Contains require a character on each end. e.g....
Incoming call: 123456, EndsWith 23456 will match, but not 123456 BeginsWith requires an end digit and contains requires a digit on either end If you design your rule keeping that in mind, matching/forwarding should work. |
I started a similar thread a few days ago because my call forwarding (using incoming providers) stopped working recently.

I just noticed a failure on the EU server when forwarding incoming calls to another Voxalot user via Sipbroker (sip:*031xxxxxx@sipbroker.com). I switched to 010 and it worked immediately.
The strange thing is that the delay was vastly improved even though I, the incoming caller and the divertee are all in the EU. |
