Can't Register Innomedia Device
Hello,
I am in need of a little help, I have been able to register x-lite and setup a dial plan without problems but I can't seem to get my ex-sunrocket Innomedia adapter to register. I used the same settings as for x-lite but with no luck. Any ideas? BTW - I am a basic member so that may be the issue. Thanks Wade |
Hi Wade,
Any chance you can post a screen capture of your settings (with username masked) so we can take a look? . |
Seems I have it working now, not sure what the problem was. Now just have to figure out why incoming calls from my DID only ring 20% or so of the time.

When call out I got a busy tone no matter the account registerd in us or au. But dial *600 is nrmal, I can heard the voice prompt then heard my voice. |
One thing that I've found with the old SunRocket innomedia ATA is that if you configure it to use both lines (obviously with 2 different voxalot accounts), then at least one of the voxalot accounts must have symmetric NAT translation set to NO. If both accounts have YES for symmetric NAT translation, then the adapter acts very flaky with respect to incomming calls.
Perhaps this is true of any ATA with two lines. Since the SIP signaling port is the same for both lines, only one set of bogus UDP packets is necessary to keep the port open through the NAT box anyway. |
I am only using line 1 of the device. Are there any settings in the Innomedia that I should set differently from the default sunrocket settings (aside from the SIP and User info) that could help my incoming call issue. Still not working very consistently but softphones (x-lite) seems to work much better. Outgoing is no issue at all, works great.
