Incomming calls not passing trough

Hello!

For my friend I have made an account with two VSP, one of them is with SIP Register set to Yes to be able to receive incoming calls.

Everything was working ok until recently (week ago) when it started to return voice message that account is temporarily unavailable if I dial external DID number which is registered with that Voxalot account.

If I dial Voxalot ID directly, then everything is ok. If I go to see status for two VSP's it shows that account is registered.

Can you please tell me what is the problem?

I am having a similar problem with my Pennytel DID (Pennytel is registered in Voxalot). Although sometimes the caller to my DID gets through, most of the time, when I pick up the phone, there is no-one at the other end. A few seconds later I will get an empty Voxalot voicemail showing the number of the person who called. The same number is also displayed on my VoIP phone (Telstra Access 200 corded) when I press 'Callers'. It's a nuisance, but I've learned to live with it. The callers don't mind as they are not paying for the call because I am the one who is ringing them back.

It appears that, as soon as I pick up the ringing phone, a signal goes to the caller that my phone is engaged or not available, so voice mail kicks in. I have not seen any comments from Voxalot staff when I posted about this problem previously, so they must be as baffled as I am. Pennytel said it is probably a Voxalot issue. Well, they would say that, wouldn't they? When there are two parties involved, it's too easy to blame the other one. :) The thing is, though, that it does not happen every time. Occasionally, when I pick up the phone, there is actually someone there. It feels good when it happens, a bit like getting 3 and a sup in Lotto. :)
