I have the same problem, except that in my case I get an error on the eu, us AND au servers (my usual server is eu as I'm in the UK).

Calls over Betamax dialled directly from my ATA work fine, as you would expect.

I am too getting "Recv 503 Service Unavailable" with eu server

Betamax (justvoip) not working via Voxalot

Have Betamax taken their bat home again? I, and 2 of my friends, use JustVoip via Voxalot. Currently, when calling out, we get the unobtainable tone.
I've just tried adding JustVoip as a gateway on my ATA and it works.
So it looks as though there are possibly problems again with Voxalot/Betamax operations.
Its a b***** nuisance!

I just want to say that I am getting the same problems people are getting here. Since yesterday around 15:00 I am not able to make outbound calls anymore.

Have 2 Voxalot accounts, one using Voipstunt, the other Voipbuster. My inbound calls to my Voipstunt number however DO work, which is very strange.

I cannot make outbound calls using either one of the Voxalot account...

Can the support team please look into this? I would really like to be able to make phonecalls again.

Thanks :)

Voxalot?

And where is voxalot?
aren't there bug fixers? or is this a sabotage action from Betamax?

Same here, since yesterday I'm not able to make outbound calls through eu.voxalot icw Betamax services.
I don't suspect any sabotage action from Betamax though, since it's possible to make outbound calls using the us.voxalot server.
But it sure will make a difference to hear from the Voxalot people that they are working on the problem.

thanks for the concrete message. i was trying to make call through EU server using betamax accounts during yesterday and failed. after i read your comments i tried it via US server and it works fine. so, it should be something with voxalot EU server instead betamax bugs. hope the moderators and administrator will have a closer look at it and fix the problem. thanks in advance!

Same here, a switch to the US server worked for me. :)

flaquadrat 09-23-2008 04:48 PM

hi!

strange ... for me switch to other voxalot server is not working:
tested with:
1) eu.voxalot.com
2) us.voxalot.com
3) au.voxalot.com

vsp: voipcheap.com, smsdscount.com and intervoip.com

calling direct (*not* via voxalot) using SIP.VOIPCHEAP.COM or SIP.SMSDISCOUNT.COM is working perfektly!

the "best" of all is that query on Service Status is giving "operational" status for all services!!!???
au.voxalot.com Operational
eu.voxalot.com Operational
us.voxalot.com (Proxy 1) Operational
us.voxalot.com (Proxy 2) Operational

.. and incomming calls are working. echo test (*600) is working. *500 is working .... ?????

all outgoing calls ar giving bussy signal (ocupied) ????

regards,
fla

Same thing here but tried with port 443 and everything works fine. Just change ports to 80 or 443 both works.
